Welcome
|
Welcome to the Jefferson Terrace Homeowner's Association web site. The Jefferson Terrace Sixth Filing (JT6) subdivision built its first house in 1995. The neighborhood association was organized in 1998 after overwhelming interest was shown in maintaining our unique community. Since that time, block parties, landscaping projects, Yard of the Month and Neighborhood Watch programs have served to tighten our bonds as neighbors as well as protect our investments as homeowners. Please click on the buttons to the left to find out more about our neighborhood, including the officers & directors, committees, restrictions, newsletters, upcoming events, yard of the month, and more. If you are a new resident please download the welcome packet (pdf), or contact the welcome committee for a hard copy. Also, be sure to check out the local links page containing links to the Baton Rouge community, such as schools, utilities, entertainment, weather, libraries, hospitals, local news, etc. JT6 Annual Meeting: The 2010 Annual Meeting will be held on June 23rd, 7PM at the Blue Cross BlueShield Building.
The 2009 Annual Meeting was held at the BC/BS
building on Jefferson Terrace Aquatic Club (JTAC):
JTAC is now offering incentives for early JTAC membership. The neighborhood pool
is open to all adjacent neighborhood communities that outline the primary
neighborhood. The pool (located on Inniswold Rd. between the BREC Park
on Cal Road and Jefferson Terrace Elementary School) is a family
friendly atmosphere. Swim lessons are offered as well as swim team
starting at age 3. Thursday Family nights with BBQ and other entrees, a
Fourth of July party and Adult Nights are all part of the fun. Summer
memberships are $350/yr or $225/yr if you are a stockholder. For more
